Relationship & Attachment Counseling

Relationships are one of the most important parts of our lives. They offer us support, belonging, and shape who we become. That’s why it can feel so deeply painful when relationships don’t meet our hopes, desires, or expectations. Whether it’s with a partner, family member, friend, or even with ourselves, feeling disconnected or unseen can leave us feeling isolated, uncertain, and profoundly alone.

But this doesn’t mean your need for connection disappears.

In fact, the pain you’re experiencing can be good news. It’s a sign that you still care and that hope is still alive. You can still connect with others and build the kind of relationships you want. We can be hurt by other’s, but we are also healed by them.

Of course, relationships are complex, and even secure, loving ones require effort and growth.

Perhaps you’re dealing with ongoing challenges with your romantic partner, family, or children. Maybe you feel emotionally drained and misunderstood, wondering how to find people who genuinely understand you, appreciate you, and value you for who you are.

If you’re like many of the clients I work with, you may be asking:

  • Why do I keep repeating the same relationship conflicts over and over?

  • Why do I feel disconnected, even from the people who matter most?

  • Could my trust issues be rooted in past rejection or trauma?

  • How can I find and build relationships that are supportive and validating?

If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone. We all struggle with relationships and we shouldn’t have to go through them by ourselves.
