~About Me~

Helping others has always been at the core of who I am. I’ve long seen myself as a natural helper, driven by a genuine curiosity about people and their experiences. I believe we’re all connected, and working as a therapist allows me to live out that value each day. As an Asheville native, I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals within my own community.

I earned my M.A. in Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University and am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (A20935), practicing under the supervision of Audrey Morris, LCMHCS (144469). I have clinical experience across drug rehabilitation, college campus, and inpatient residential settings, supporting a wide range of diverse client needs.

When I’m not providing therapy, I enjoy preforming in live theatre! Something that connects back to my roots as a former drama major. Although I didn’t pursue a career on the stage, my studies deepened my appreciation for the complexity of characters and the real-life experiences that shape them. In many ways, that passion carries into my work as a therapist. I’m drawn to helping clients explore their underlying motivations, goals, and dreams, and to better understand the stories that have shaped who they are.

All too often, new clients share that negative experiences with previous therapists have shaped their perception of the profession. I notice this especially among individuals whose identities and backgrounds differ from my own. If you choose to work with me, I am committed to providing socially conscious and culturally humble care that honors your lived experience and offers a restorative alternative to any past treatment that felt harmful or insufficient.
