The first session is an opportunity to get to know one another and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your history, current challenges, goals, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process.
You will also have space to ask questions and determine whether we feel like a good fit.

The length of therapy varies depending on your goals, needs, circumstances, and the concerns you are addressing. Some clients seek support for a specific challenge, while others choose longer-term therapy for deeper exploration and growth. We will regularly discuss your progress and adjust our work based on your needs.
Most clients meet weekly for 55-minutes.

Yes, telehealth sessions are available depending on location, licensing requirements, and availability.
I am licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina.

The cost of an individual therapy session is $125.00.
I offer a sliding scale based on your income, which can be verified with a recent pay stub or tax document -
I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, & MedCost.
If you’re out-of-network, I can provide a “superbill” for you to submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed.
I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to confirm your out-of-network benefits and determine your copay or reimbursement eligibility.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full session fee. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will not be charged a fee.
I’m happy to waive the cancellation fee if the appointment is rescheduled to another available time within the same week, but this is subject to scheduling availability. Otherwise, standard notice requirements still apply.
